Grade Two English Majors -- Spring 2006
What You Need to Know

THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT CLASSES TAUGHT UP TO AND INCLUDING THURSDAY JUNE 1, 2006

Dear Student,

I want you to be successful.

There is no secret to being able to learn English well. Being able to master the language takes hard work and much practice. If you are willing to put in the time and take your study seriously, you will do well in my classroom. If you aren't,  you need to think about why you are in university. As your teacher, I will always try my best in your classroom and I ask that you do the same.
This website is designed with you in mind. The information contained herein is provided to help you understand what is required of you to do well in both classes you will be taking with me this semester. It is my goal for you to improve your English level to the point where you can pass your upcoming final examination with ease.

The more time you invest in your study of English, the easier it will be for you to reach your dreams. I will do my best to help you get there. This week, I will be in our school's Wednesday morning English Corner from 07:00 - 07:45 hours (7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.), our Thursday evening English Corner from 18:00 hours (6:00 p.m.) until after 21:00 hours (9:00 p.m.) and in the Sunday morning English Corner in Zi Jing Shan park from 07:45 hours (7:45 a.m.) until at least 11:00 hours (11:00 a.m.).

Keep trying and remember what I always say, try to be better today than you were yesterday and a little better tomorrow than you were today.

Sincerely,
Professor Morley Chertkoff, BA, M.Min.
